Beadwork

Bead Work in the main is the technique of placing beads together to create a design, whether picture, abstract or garment. Historically, the beads are of durable materials, surviving in the archaeological record appearing with the very advent of modern man, Homo sapiens. Our off-loom beading is a family of beadwork techniques in which seed beads are woven together into a flat fabric. This can include nearly two-dozen stitch techniques including Albion stitch, brick stitch, chevron stitch, diamond weave, herringbone stitch, Hubble stitch and Russian spiral.
